The Bobrick B-5806.99x18 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar is a versatile piece available in both a satin finish and a satin finish with a peened nonslip gripping surface. The grab bar is constructed to ensure compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines. The bar is made from type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing that is 1-1/4 inches thick. At 18 inches in length, the piece is the perfect choice for small bathroom stalls. The construction of the bar allows it to be one solid piece with the tube passed through the flanges. To conceal the screws, the cover snaps over the flange. When placed so there is 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the walls, the grab bar can support up to 900 pounds of weight. In other configurations, the piece can bear up to 250 pounds. Mounting kits and grab bar fasteners are available for purchase separately as well as optional anchoring devices.
