If you are looking for a sturdy grab bar that is versatile enough to be mounted both horizontally and vertically, the Bobrick B-5806x42 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar was built with the needs of you and your business in mind. The second longest grab bar in its product range, the bar is 42 inches in length. The model is 1-1/4 inches in diameter and fabricated out of durable, 18-gauge, type-304 stainless steel. The bar can be installed on its own or combined with others in different lengths and has an attractive satin finish that makes it more difficult to see fingerprints on its surface than it would be with a polished, shiny finish. A stainless steel mounting flange positioned at either end of the grab bar is used to secure the bar to the wall and is kept out of sight by a 22-gauge stainless steel snap-down flange cover. The bar can support 900 pounds of weight when there is 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the wall.
