Measuring 1-14 inches thick, the grab bar increases the safety in restrooms and ensures ADA Accessibility Guidelines compliance. Type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel is used to produce the bar. The grab bar is a full 42 inches long, making it ideal for very large restrooms. The one-piece construction of the grab bar is due to its design, where the bar passes through the flange. With a design that is intended for 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the wall, the bar has a maximum weight rating of 900 pounds. If you choose to install the grab bar with a different amount of clearance, it can bear up to 250 pounds. To ensure a clean, sleek look once installed and prevent tampering, the cover snaps down over the screws.
